STAGE MOVEMENT

This course empowers actors to master physical presence and spatial awareness, transforming the body into a disciplined, expressive tool. Students explore a range of movement styles—including Meyerhold’s Biomechanics—to develop the agility, control, and non-verbal precision required for any performance context.

MECHANICS OF ACTION & IMPROVISATION

In acting, action is the foundation of genuine emotion. The exercises in this course guide actors toward mastering chosen actions and developing an organic response in any situation. Students learn to focus on objectives, actions, and activities that enhance and add depth to their performance choices, while integrating the "reality of doing" in front of the camera. Structured improvisation is the key to achieving spontaneous and authentic acting. This work fosters active listening and teaches actors how to manage their impulses and spontaneity.

IMAGINATION

An actor operates within an imaginary world, supported by artistic thought and stage belief. Imagination is the core of this creation, enabling actors to make this world visible and believable to both themselves and the audience. Like a muscle, imagination must be trained, and this course offers exercises focused on stage awareness, creativity, fantasy, and the given circumstances of a scene.

"MOLIÈRESQUE VARIATIONS"

Inspired by the numerous film and television adaptations of Molière's works, the end-of-year project delves into comedy through these iconic texts. Students will focus on the creative management of movement, backstage preparation, and energy control during performances. This experience not only helps uncover each student's potential but also strengthens the skills they've developed throughout their training.

THE MAGIC OF ICONIC SCENES

This course focuses on breaking down iconic scenes by identifying objectives, actions, beats, and activities through active psychophysical analysis. The goal is to help students internalize the emotions, rhythms, and nuances of a character, turning psychology into physical behavior. Actors will explore the complexity of playing contradictory emotions, boldly conquering the depth of their characters.

CHARACTER WORK

This course is dedicated to the in-depth construction of the character. Students will focus on the psychological gesture, the nuances of action, the inner radiance, and the charisma of their character. The aim is to cultivate a receptiveness that captures intentions, thoughts, feelings, and atmospheres. The objective is to empower actors to be independent, enabling them to access intense emotions instantly, relying on a solid technique while interacting naturally with other characters.

GREAT SCENES OF MODERN CINEMA

This course focuses on the iconic scenes of contemporary cinema, where students learn to break down actions into objectives, beats, and activities through active psychophysical analysis. The goal is to enhance the student’s ability to embody the emotions, rhythms, and specificities of their character, transforming psychological insight into physical gestures and actions.

"CHEKHOVIAN VARIATIONS"

Inspired by the numerous adaptations of Anton Chekhov's works, the end-of-year projects synthesize the techniques learned throughout the year. The preparation involves in-depth work on costumes, props, and lighting, revealing the student’s potential and solidifying the skills acquired during their second year of training.

END-OF-YEAR FILMING

The end-of-year filming represents a synthesis of the methods and techniques taught throughout the program. It involves in-depth work on costumes, props, and performance tasks, serving as a crucial assessment often determining the progression to the third year.
